IBOT: Professional Learning

Social networking has drastically changed the way teachers receive professional development. Instead of being limited to collaborating with teachers in our district (with the occasional state or national conference sprinkled in), we can now connect with educators worldwide. The pooling of resources can challenge us to grow as professionals and provide a national, and even international, support network for problem solving.

This collection will present some possibilities for connecting with other professionals through the power of technology. Even if your corporation does not allow you to communicate with stakeholders via social media, you can still make connections with educators through one of the many tools available.

Never completed a collection in Pyxis before?  You might want to check out this Overview Video that walks you through the 8 Innovative Learner opportunities and the basics on what to expect.
